EnerBlockTM insulated concrete masonry walls have proven to be an excellent application for Correctional Facilities:

SECURITY: continuous concrete grout is placed in the cores of the concrete masonry unit along with the rigid polystyrene inserts. Horizontal and/or vertical reinforcing steel is placed according to the level of required security. The webs and cores of concrete masonry units align for accurate and efficient grouting.

STRUCTURAL STRENGTH: load-bearing reinforced concrete masonry wall construction; vertical and horizontal reinforcing spacing as required.

INSULATION: Rigid expanded polystyrene inserts are installed toward the exterior face shell in the center cores of the special shaped concrete masonry units (above) and the cores formed between the units horizontally. Inserts extend above the units to insulate between the units vertically for virtually continuous insulation.
